I want you to wear what you feel most confident and comfortable in! Editorial sessions are best styled with minimal earthy palettes, rich textures, and silhouettes that photograph well in natural light. If your session is with your partner or a group, coordinating colors that look nice together tends to photograph better than matching exactly. A refined session wardrobe doesn’t need to be elaborate—it just needs to feel like you, elevated. If you're trying to decide what to wear, we can always talk about it and discuss inspiration so that you look your best according to the your vision for the shoot. 

What should be worn for a session?

Yes—often and happily. I'm based in Northern Minnesota but I'm often shooting all over North Dakota & Minnesota. I'm also available for travel so if you're looking for photos outside of the midwest, I'd love to chat details with you!

Do you travel?

Booking is simple! We start with a chat to make sure we vibe and understand your vision. Once you’re ready, we’ll secure your date with a signed contract and retainer. From there, I’ll guide you through any planning so your session goes smoothly and feels effortless.

How do we book you?

You’ll receive a preview gallery within a few days so you can relive some highlights while the full gallery is being edited. The complete, fully edited gallery typically takes 2–4 weeks for a photo session. As wedding galleries are very extensive and detailed events, wedding galleries typically are delivered within 4-6 weeks depending on your selected package. 

How long will it take to get my photos?

Yes! I offer flexible options for full sessions, and custom experiences. I often host mini-sessions seasonally. Whether it’s a quick family shoot or a full wedding weekend, we can tailor your session to your needs.

Can we customize our session? 

The sooner, the better! Popular dates fill quickly, especially weekends and wedding seasons. For weddings, aim for 9–12 months in advance. For families, seniors, and portraits, a few months ahead is usually perfect to guarantee your spot. You are welcome to inquire or book as early as you want! And if your date or session is a little more last minute, it never hurts to ask and I will try my best to get you in if I am not completely booked out. 

How far in advance should we book?

All images are delivered digitally through a secure online gallery. From there, you can download, share, or print your favorites. You can also request a guest link and code for other people that you'd like to be able to directly download photos from the online gallery. Galleries are user-friendly and designed to last for years.

How WIll i receive my photos?

You are not alone! Most people feel like this at first. I’ll guide you every step of the way with direction & prompts so you’re never left wondering what to do. Much of the time will be focused less on “posing” and more on movement, connection, and genuine moments—that’s where the best photos come from!

Think of it less like a photoshoot and more like spending time together while I capture you at your best. Give it a few minutes, trust the process, and you’ll be surprised how quickly that awkward feeling fades.
