I’m a photographer who believes every story deserves to be told in a way that feels authentic, elevated, and uniquely yours. Based in the Midwest, I specialize in weddings, couples, families, seniors, and portraits, blending documentary storytelling with editorial artistry. My editing style keeps things true to life, highlighting the warmth, light, and emotion of each moment.

I love building genuine connections with my clients — it’s how I capture the small glances, laughter, and little moments that make your story special. When I’m not photographing, I'm soaking up every moment of motherhood, exploring creativity through art and new crafts, or seeking some fun in the outdoors (specifically at the lake or the tennis courts).

Hello!
I'm Jazlyn

The love of my life...

more fun facts...

I was a 2024 bride. Best day ever.

I'm a wife & just recently became a mom!

I would spend all my time at the lake if I could. It's always been my happy place.

Favorite activities include boating & paddle boarding in the summer and skating & snowmobiling in the winter.

I really like playing golf and tennis (I didn't say I'm good but they're both so fun)

North Dakota born & raised.

And yes, I do miss the plains if I leave the midwest for more than a week...

My husband is a 5th generation Minnesota beet farmer

Family is my everything. My passion for photography also originally stemmed from being obsessed with my family albums growing up.

I love painting & viewing art. Embracing different creative outlets keeps me inspired.

Proud dog mom. Say hi to Sage.

Photography first became part of my career working  as a church Creative Director. At present, I still love to take photos from time to time as a volunteer.

My love for photography has always been rooted in storytelling — the kind that lingers, that sparks feeling long after the moment has passed. I draw inspiration from fashion and editorial photography, the creativity of posing, and the artistry in composition. I also have a deep connection to tangible memories; as a kid, I would spend hours flipping through my family’s stacks of photo albums, mesmerized by the way a single image could hold a lifetime of stories. That nostalgia and fullness of joy I always felt looking through photos is why I'm so passionate about freezing beautiful memories in time. I also love the look and feel of film cameras and old camcorders — they capture moments with an honesty and texture that just feels real and fun.

I’m equally inspired by cinematic films, shows, & writings; the drama of storytelling, and the poetry in everyday life. I think of photography as photographic poetry: the same way a poem can evoke laughter, love, or deep understanding, I aim for my images to stir genuine emotion. To not just capture the subjects in how they look, but in how they ARE. Every session, every wedding, every portrait is an opportunity to craft images that are both visually elevated and deeply meaningful — a collection of memories that feel as alive and authentic as the moments themselves.
